  • Aluminum cans
  • Aluminum foil and trays
  • Paint cans (must be empty or dry)
  • Spray cans (must be empty)
  • Steel (tin) cans

Plastic
  • Plastic bottles, tubs and containers numbered 1-7
  • Plastic buckets

Paper
  • Bags (paper only, no plastic)
  • Cardboard (non-waxed)
  • Cardboard
  • Computer and office paper (all colors)
  • Egg cartons
  • Envelopes, Junk mail and magazines
  • Milk and juice cartons
  • Newspapers
  • Packing or craft paper
  • Phonebooks
  • Sticky notes
  • Shredded paper (place in a sealed clear plastic bag and placed on top of your blue Recycle cart)
  • Wrapping paper (non-metallic)

Glass
  • Glass bottles and jars

Please, No:

  • Automotive parts
  • Batteries and cell phones
  • Black plastics
  • Diapers
  • Drinking glasses
  • Food
  • Garbage
  • Hazardous waste
  • Juice, soup or soy milk type boxes with foil liner
  • Plastic bags
  • Plastic and wire hangers
  • Styrofoam containers and packing peanuts
  • Window glass

Other Items:
There are several items that we can't take in our recycling program, but we don't want to see them end up in the landfill either. Please click here for a list of items that can be recycled like ink jet cartridges, plastic bags and packing materials.
