Garbage Information for Single Family Residents
Anything that can't be recycled or composted goes into the black Garbage cart. Remember, anything that is placed into the garbage goes directly to the landfill. However, many items that we cannot accept in the recycling or composting program can be accepted elsewhere. - Bubble wrap
- Ceramic dishware or glassware
- Clothing and linens
- Coat hangers
- Diapers
- Foil-backed or plastic-backed paper
- Glass mirrors and windows
- Juice or soy milk type boxes with foil liner
- Kitty litter and animal feces (bagged)
- Pens and pencils
- Plastic bags, wrappers and film
- Rubber bands
- Small pieces of plywood, pressboard, and painted or stained wood
- Snack bags and wrappers
- Styrofoam
