CITY OF SAN MATEO COMMUNITY MEETING ON NEW RESIDENTIAL RECYCLE, COMPOST AND GARBAGE COLLECTION SERVICES TO BE HELD AUGUST 18, 2010
Community Meetings Planned Throughout RethinkWaste Service Area
SAN CARLOS, CA - August 11, 2010 - San Mateo residents are invited to view the new Recycle, Compost and Garbage Carts firsthand and learn more about the new CartSMART collection services at a community meeting on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. The meeting will be held in the Oak Room of the Main Library at 55 West 3rd Avenue, San Mateo from 6 to 7:30 pm.
The meeting will include the viewing of a video on the new curbside services, information on the service changes and a question-and-answer period. Representatives from RethinkWaste, Recology San Mateo County, who will be the future service provider, and the City will be on hand to answer questions. Light refreshments will also be provided.
The San Mateo meeting is the first in a series of evening community meetings planned throughout the RethinkWaste service area as follows:
