NO CHANGE TO GARBAGE COLLECTION SCHEDULE OVER HOLIDAYS

Shoreway Facility Will Close to Public
SAN CARLOS, CA – December 23, 2010 – Residents will not have a change in their garbage and recycling collection schedule over the holidays since both Christmas and New Year's fall on a Saturday this year. Residents are asked to set out their carts by 6 am on their regular collection day this week and next week.

The Shoreway Recycling and Transfer Station in San Carlos will be closed to the public, however, on the following dates below:

  • Friday, December 24
  • Saturday, December 25
  • Friday, December 31
  • Saturday, January 1

The Allied Waste of San Mateo County offices at Shoreway will also be closed on December 24, 25 and 31 in observance of the holidays. Recology San Mateo County, who takes over the services from Allied Waste on January 1, 2011, will also be closed on January 1.
