Funds from resale are used to purchase new clothing, uniforms and books for underprivileged elementary school children and new books for family literacy programs.

CalMAX's mission is to build reuse markets for materials from businesses, organizations, industry, schools, and individuals, and to find markets for non-hazardous materials that may otherwise be discarded.
Children's Fund of San Mateo County
The Children's Fund benefits children and teens being served by the County of San Mateo's Human Services Agency, probation and mental health departments, as well as any children living in poverty throughout San Mateo County.
