Recology Peninsula Services provides debris box, compactor and commercial recycling services throughout San Mateo County.*

We offer an extensive Construction & Demolition Recycling program, which includes providing our customers with diversion documentation required for City and County Recycling Ordinances.

Dirt, Rock or Concrete Boxes

7 Yard Dirt Box (4'x10'x6')
Designed for dirt, rock (except serpentine rock*), concrete, sand, asphalt, bricks, stucco, sheet rock, gravel and tile shingles only.

*Serpentine rock contains asbestos and is hazardous waste.

  • Paints, oils & solvents

*Hazardous Waste consists of chemicals, cleaners, medical waste (prescription and over-the-counter drugs, syringes), paint and paint thinners, pesticides and polishes. To dispose of Hazardous Waste please schedule a free drop-off by using the online appointment form on the San Mateo County Household Hazardous Waste Program website, or contact them directly by calling (650) 363-4718.

  • Materials within the debris box must be distributed evenly and must not exceed the rim.
  • If the materials exceed the allotted weight limit, additional fees may apply.
  • Rental charges may apply to boxes remaining on site for more than seven (7) days.
